I really don't care as long as it comes in this sophisticated looking lunchbox designed by Lorea Sinclaire. Via HUH Magazine.

Ballistic Boondoggle and Repetitive Deception Scheme

Mixed media installations by American artist Liz Miller. She recontextualizes simplified shapes, signs and symbols from disparate historical and contemporary imagery to create abstract fictions. I absolutely love it - the pink one looks like gigant paper cut chewing gum! Check out more of her fantastic work here or here or here or...Via The Jealous Curator.

Inside out

Samuel Coendet and Lea Gerber from Atelier Volvox collected plush toys from second-hand shops and forgotten corners of nursery schools and gave them a new life by opening, reversing and resewing them. Love the idea – it's so funny (and a little scary!). The Outsiders toys received the Recycling Design Preis 2012 in Germany last week. Via Dezeen.

Two Lucky Stores

Beautiful and absolutely amazing oak parquet in the Stella McCartney Milan and Rome stores arranged in a multicolored pattern created by Israeli designer Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay for Established & Sons. I want that floor! Or I could maybe move into one of the stores...?

A Girl and her Room

This project by Rania Matar – born and raised in Lebanon, living in the U.S. since 1984 – is about teenage girls and young women at a transitional time of their lives, alone in the privacy of their own personal space and surroundings: their bedroom, a womb within the outside world. Via Basic Sounds.
