Great Graphic Inspiration #23

Lovely packaging for British luxury truffle creators Costello & Hellerstein by Robot Food. Created by hand, the ribbons of colour, produced by swirling ink over water and overlaying cartridge paper, have come out incredible – I'm impressed and a bit jealous admitting that I'm always in lack of time in my own design processes and simply turns to the computer way to fast. Maybe it's time to take a deep breath and let the computer sleep, let the clients wait, and just have some pure, creative fun! Via Good Design makes Me Happy.

I scream you scream we all scream for icecream

I know it ain't really season for icecream right now being winter and all, but I suddenly felt the urge when I stumbled over this exquisite icecream packaging for Gorky Park Icecreams by graphic designer Anastasia Genkina. Dazzling, bright colours and wonderful, clean pattern, and if the taste is just half as good as the design – I'm of to Moscow! Via Good Design Makes Me Happy.

That time of the month ...

Not normally something I would celebrate, but when it comes to Le Parcel — a monthly delivery service for “that time of the month”— it would probarbly change a bit. I love the concept with the little extra gifts and chocolates (yeah, I know I'm easy) and Seven Fifty Five did a fantastic job with the packaging, the logotype design and the lovely colour palette. And so good to know that Le Parcel is always there for me!! Via Good Design Makes Me Happy.

Great Graphic Inspiration #18

Great visuel identity by the Mexican design agency Anagrama for Nordic House – a dry-cleaning shop in San Francisco, California.  Their approach was focused on Scandinavian design, combining simple geometric forms with a clean, sharp, well-distributed logotype and an icy, cold color palette. A few icons are present in the overall identity, designed with a stark and reductionist style that captures the brand’s elemental emphasis on honesty, clarity and above all, quality. Good work! Hello 2013

What better way to toast a welcome to the new year 2013, than with this fabulous idea for wine packaging by Russian designer Diana Gibadulina? The idea was to create a packaging for those, who love wine, but doesn’t know which one to choose. On the bottle you can find the best suitable case for drinking it, the best temperature, which food goes with the wine etc. Via Lovely Package.
Happy New Year everyone!
