Eat Me
Three is a magic number, yes it is, yes it is - but it's also the name of an art-group consisting of three young Japanese artists who generally choose to remain anonymous. Last January Three staged an interactive installation at Shiseido Egg Gallery
titled “eat me.” Roughly 7000 individually packaged candy was hung from
the ceiling in the shape of a house. Visitors were encouraged to eat
the candy but dispose of the wrappers in the corner of the gallery. The
house eventually disappeared at the hands of the visitors, leaving just a
pile of trash. Via Spoon and Tamago.

Watercolour Wonders
Believe me - watercolour is not easy at all – it's tricky, you can't really control anything and the colours never turn out how you expect! So I'm very admired by Monica Ramos – a young, humorous and talented illustrator, born in the Philippines and raised in
between beaches, mountains and a quiet neighborhood. She graduated from
the Illustration program at Parsons the New School of Design with honors
and lives in Brooklyn (for now). Painting food is her excuse to eat so
much... Via Brown Paper Bag.

Flexible Textile Logo
This simple typographic logo with a lovely neon colour palette and incredible patterns designed for TextileLab and TextileMuseum by Dutch design studio Raw Colour, is a really cool and flexible visual identity. The work of Raw Color reflects a sophisticated treatment of material and
colour by mixing the fields of graphic design and photography. This is
embodied through research and experiments, building their visual
language. Via Good Design Makes Me Happy.

desk objects to installations. They look to create the unexpected from
simple objects using simple forms, drawing influence and insight from
the diverse culture that Australia presents them with. Their designs aim to be ‘just nice’ and that's exactly what they are! Shop here. Via Arcademi.

Big horns for Smallhorns
London based artist Sophie Smallhorn
exhibits internationally and is commissioned by both private and
corporate clients. And I see why. Her talented work explores the relationships between colour,
volume and proportion in such a beautiful, graphic way. It looks so simple but trust me - it ain't! Since I loooove wood I choose to show her work with wood and acrylic, but do yourself a favour and check out some of her silkscreen prints here and here. Via Trendland.
