Spotlight Volumes
Steel pendant lamps with a bulb in each end designed by Lukas Peet from Canada. The Spotlight Volumes create ambient downward light while throwing a small spot of illumination upwards onto the ceiling. The shades hang from a braided flex wrapped around their narrowest points, supplemented by a 1mm thick steel cable. Simple, strong and super cool design! Via Dezeen.

Fabulous Furniture
"The unique name of things limit the range of product's shape and function, but above all, the fact that there exists stereotyped function in accordance with each unique name suppresses my imagination. I am not willing to deny or destroy the identity based on the stereotype, but I only reinterpret the uses I need in my own design language". That's how South Korean designer Seung-Yong Song thinks and that's why his furniture are so innovative and fab! Via Dezeen.
