Temporary Contemporary Carpets

We Make Carpets creates temporary contemporary carpets out of everyday products such as plastic forks, pasta, cotton pads etc. They choose the material and start working on the carpet without a plan or a sketch, resulting in a concentrated process of laying the materials one by one until the finished carpet appears. We Make Carpets are a collaboration between the two designers Stijn van der Vleuten and Marcia Nolte and visual artist Bob Waardenburg. Via Ignant.
