Floating landscapes

I love these floating color exploding landscapes made by Brazialian artist Pedro Varela. He uses simple materials such as ballpoint pens and color markers on rice paper, cut paper, and – like on these examples – self adhesive vinyl and some traditional materials to build cities and other utopian landscapes immersed on an atmosphere of fables and silence. Have a floating, color exploding weekend!
