Time Stamps

I'm totally in love with these brilliant and quite inspiring time stamps by Maker of Things (as he call himself) Eric Trine. He calls them time stamps because the elements are a myriad of things in his studio – client projects, personal projects, plants, comissioned furniture etc. – all within arms reach. Visual studies only existing in their documentation – and in Ongoing Arrangements. So clever!

OCD

That's the name of this fabulous, playful and stylish table by Mexican Design Studio, Esrawe. The piece allows you to catalogue/organize the everyday items that you use the most. The objects that are placed into the table reflect a partial image of the personality and also gives you a glimpse of the activity of the person that uses it. Mayby not very practical my real life but in my dream-office - yes indeed!! Via Present And Correct.

Wood Fossil

I like these objects by Italian designers and artists Nucleo from the series Wood Fossil. Nucleo often use fiberglass, pigment resin and carbon-fiber in their pieces, resulting in a very raw aesthetic, between minimalism and organic matter. Found, up-cycled wood and neat resin create a tension between the polished material and the disappearing fossil, forming objects that are visible but not fully touchable, manmade but decidedly organic. Superb Staging by Susanna

Super talented Helsinki based interior designer Susanna Vento is also a decorating editor, an interior & prop stylist, a set designer and she works for the Finnish design magazine Deko. Quelle Quadra

This is such a simple and amazing idea – wauw! The table Quadra made by Milano based designer  Luis Arrivilaga consist of a loop stand frame combined with a tabletop of your choice. It is designed to build a universal table that offers the possibility of infinite lenght. The powdercoated steel frames come in different colors and can be used indoors or outdoors. Unfortunately it is only a prototype yet and not purchasable. Hopefully someone will see the potential in this great idea and welcome it in the world of great designs. Via Ignant.

Mugroso

Mexican product and furniture designer Liliana Ovalle based in London designs objects where the functional and the aesthetic components are accompanied by a reflection of contemporary life aspects. I love these sofas and armchairs from the Mugroso Series inspired by the urban scenarios in Mexico City, where people find the way of putting bits and pieces together in order to compose functional everyday objects. The objects grow in what appear random and sometimes absurd compositions, following no planning or safety concerns. So cool!! Via Arcademi.

Pop-up Paper Lamp

This cool Pop-up corner light by French Well Well Designers is delivered in an envelope. Constructed from a sheet of paper, lined with polyphane this lamp is outstanding in its simplicity fitting perfectly in every corner to create indirect light. Future Primitives

Future Primitives is a new furniture collection by Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen. The designers Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen began with what they saw as primitive forms, and updated them for the future by combining different functions using basic material such as tubular steel and leather.The primitive side is about FORM.
