Fraternitatis
Great drawings by Dutch artist Raymond Lemstra who with his work likes to refer to the illustrative nature of primitive drawings and sculptures. He is fascinated by the distortion as a result of selective emphasis; parts of interest are emphasized, unimportant parts reduced or left out. Via Juxtapoz.

Cigarette Smoking Children
Photo manipulations created by Belgain photographer Frieke Janssen:
"Adult smokers are the societal norm, so I wanted to isolate the viewer's focus upon the issue of smoking itself. I felt that children smoking would have a surreal impact upon the viewer and compel them to truly see the acts of smoking rather than making assumptions about the person doing the act. To assure you of the safety of the children, there were no real cigarettes on set. Instead, chalk and sticks of cheese were the prop stand ins, while candles and incense provided the wisps of smoke."
Via Trendland.

Great Graphic Inspiration #9
As a horrible, hysterical ex-smoker it's kind of hypocritical for me to show this, but I can't help it: this is a totally amazing collection of vintage cigarette packs from Christian Kranich, Vienna. Really, truly beautiful designs and very inspiring – but still: have a lovely NON-SMOKING weekend! Via The Dieline.
