Fantastic surreal watercolour paintings by Tokyo-based artist Akiko Kobayakawa. The cute, innocent animals with their sexy ladylike legs has a surreal and yet very realistic feel and I love the delicate, poetic colours. In her work Akiko Kobayakawa likes to combine different things like beauty and ugliness, male and female, animals and humans, and she explores the boundary between them and makes it ambiguous.
