A Designers Dilemma

Nut Butter is designed by Danielle Davis, living in United States.
“Mills & Co is a higher-end, organic nut butter line proposed to be sold in DC restaurant Founding Farmers. Unfortunately the project never got to the production stage. The above rendering is a self-initiated concept of where I would have liked the packaging to go, just very simple and super clean.”
From the inspiring blog Lovely Package.

Naked and Oxfam

David Balhuizen is a dutch photographer living in London. His photography has a unique style of observation, which enables him to turn everyday situations into graphically compelling compositions.
Naked: Nudity is the state of wearing no clothing.  This series experiments with the idea of the body leaving the clothes behind, rather than the other way around. Shot in collaboration with Michele Rafferty.
Oxfam: A concept developed together with stylist and fashion consultant Michele Rafferty. Old and discarded materials are turned into new imagery relating to today's most pressing issues.

Beloved Books

We know it's very old fashioned to prefer a book over an iPad. Call us hopeless romantics but we love the feeling of the paper, the smell of the print, browsing the pages ... And the two best places to buy books in Copenhagen is Thiemers Magasin in Tullinsgade 24 and Cinnober in Landemærket 9. At Thiemers Magasin you will find a good selection of novels and children books, and the owner is always in for a chat while she makes coffee or tea. Cinnober presents a hand-picked selection of international, visually inspiring books on graphic design, illustration, street art, fashion, architecture and industrial design. They also have a great selection of notebooks, postcards and original drawings by danish illustrators.

Buy or Die

Today in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, I passed by this wall. The message is in German and means "Buy or Die". I figured it's a comment to the financial crises, which is kind of funny since graffiti artists normally are against capitalism, but I followed the call and went to buy a new pair of shoes...

Old but Lovely Legs

A few years back we created these hand cut legs and shoes for an exhibit in Copenhagen. Recently we found them again, and now they are hanging in the windows of our atelier, so if you pass by Kompagnistræde 25 in Copenhagen, look up!

Prag in Copenhagen

Until recently this shop was the oldest porn shop in the world showing people with no clothes, but now Katrine Prag and We Do Voodoo has turned the place into a vintage shop full of clothes to put on. It's located at Vesterbrogade 98A in Copenhagen. We especially like the hats on the mannequins!
